es gibt immer mehr tolle mini shirt labels / shops im netz – ich find das super. einerseits kann einem so zwar einiges entgehen dafür ist die freude um so größer wenn man dann etwas entdeckt.

iPhone Wallpapers for Winterboard – including shiny dock.
Thist post is written in english so as many people as possible can profit from my last night’s efforts.
Like, I guess most of you, I saw the presentation of the new Apple iPad and like maybe some of you I had the strong urge afterwards to make my iPhone Springboard look better, with wallpaper, shiny reflecting dock and all. So I had to jailbreak it with blackra1n (super easy – really!) and installed Winterboard (via Cydia) for my customizing needs. Turns out I had to make my own modified wallpaper and since I invested the time allready i thought: why not share? so that’s what I’m doing here – grab your new wallpaper if you like one. In the future I might post new ones.
This is a screenshot of my current “home” screen with wallpaper.Here are some wallpaper variations I made. There are two Versions each (with dock icon reflections and without them). I don’t know where the original photos are from, i guess from some wallpaper collection, sry! if you own the copright please let me know so i can link you / add copyright notice or remove them. :)
here’s a PNG of just the Dock with transparency so you can make your own version:
Just download the files and set them as background on your iPhone. Because i’m lazy i just emailed them to myself and saved them on the iPhone.
In Winterboard i use the following settings:
- User Wallpaper – to show the wallpaper.
- Transparent Dock – to hide the default dock graphics.
- Dim Wallpaper – you might like it better without this – your choice! :)
Note: I do not take any responsibility if you brick you iPhone trying to jailbreak it or trying to install something! You do this at your own risk. If you don’t know what you do or how to do it: simply don’t do it!

schade, das facebook plugin scheint nicht wirklich zu tun was es soll, bis jetzt jedenfalls hat es noch nix weitergepostet. eventuell schau ich mir das dann wohl selber mal an wie man frischt gepublishte posts direkt an seinen facebook account schicken kann via facebook connect api.

facebook und twitter connectivity
ha wie modern! jetzt ist mein blog so konfiguriert dass er neue artikel automatisch auf meine twitter und facebook accounts postet :)
nächster schritt: facebook connect für die comments implementieren. allerdings erwart ich nicht dass hier irgendwer kommentiert, daher hat das keine priorität. ^^

was für ein trashiges plugin! scheint doch nicht wie erwartet zu funktionieren.
erwartet wäre gewesen, dass es neue beiträge einfach sofort bei facebook und twitter postet, stattdessen ist das ganze als halbstündiger “pseudo cronjob” implementiert, der darauf wartet dass irgendjemand zur halben stunde die seite besucht um dann das posten auszulösen. wie schwachsinnig.
jetzt lass ich das plugin nur mehr aktiviert um zu sehen wann der zufall aktiv wird und der artikel doch noch überall gepostet. meh!

hab mir jetzt doch wieder ein blogsystem eingerichtet und obwohl ich sicher nicht regelmässig poste wollte ich neben twitter und facebook doch einen platz zum hirn entleeren haben. erwartet euch bloß nichts! :)

ha! es liegt wohl daran dass ich die meiste zeit per browser oder iphone in facebook eingeloggt bin und das plugin sehr pfuschig versucht sich mit meinem account einzuloggen. ich werd’s deaktivieren – so hat das ja keinen sinn leider. :/
